Hawaiian Paradise Park, also referred to as Paradise Park and known by many as HPP, is located in the District of Puna. The Kamehameha Schools Hawaii Campus consists of an elementary, middle and high school operated by Kamehameha Schools on the Big Island. It is situated 9 km west of Hawaiian Paradise Park. Haena Beach, or (locally known as Shipman Beach), is a very private, very hidden and secluded beach. Shipman Beach requires hiking the 2.5 mile long (each way) Puna Trail to reach which is why it's often completely empty. The hike isn't for everyone as well as the beach. There are no facilities and no lifeguard so you're on your own. Hobby Garden Hawaii is known as a fun, family, educational recreation including fishing, games, train rides, model museum, and mini golf. It's a great spot for parties and school trips. Kaloli Point is a cape in Hawaii just east of Keauhou Bay and is the perfect place for a picnic or to camp out.
